Northeast Credit Union believes that serving our members extends to serving the communities in which we live and work. We've been able to make a positive impact in the communities we serve. Here are a few examples of some of the fine programs we support:

Family Emergency Loan Program

Through partnerships with local non-profit agencies, Northeast Credit Union offers the Family Emergency Loan Program, which provides short-term loans for low and moderate income families for fuel assistance (utilities/oil and assistance to avoid shut-off), emergency heating/home repairs (threats to basic shelter needs), medical/dental care (payment for emergency services such as tooth extraction), transportation needs (auto repairs and insurance), utility/rental deposits (relocation expenses or to establish basic services) and community disaster relief (funds to assist fire/flood victims). Home Ownership Loan Program

To help individuals achieve their dream of homeownership, Northeast Credit Union participates in various mortgage programs - each offering loans at or below market rates for low and moderate income earners. For qualified buyers, the HLPR Mortgage features a low down payment, three-year adjustable rate mortgage at one point below the national average, no private mortgage insurance requirements and greatly reduced closing costs. We also offer Home Possible Neighborhood Solution Mortgages - an innovative mortgage program specially designed for law enforcement officers, teachers, firefighters and healthcare workers. These mortgages feature fixed or adjustable rate mortgages, low down payment and low mortgage insurance requirements.

Make-A-Wish Foundation

Through a variety of events and activities, Northeast Credit Union participates with the New Hampshire Credit Union League to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation. We offer reduced-cost admission to theme parks and sell Make-A-Wish angels, pins, candy bars and more. All of the profit from these sales go towards helping children who face life-threatening illnesses get their wish granted. Council for Children and Adolescents with Chronic Health Conditions
The Council for Children and Adolescents with Chronic Health Conditions partners with NECU to offer a guaranteed collateral loan. Families with children with chronic health conditions often face significant expenses for health care, medications, special equipment, travel and more.
